No one knows the true beginning. The oldest Chronicles speak of praBeing — the source from which forms of existence, Nature and the Gods of AllExistence emerged. Even the Skryptiuszes do not possess a complete record of those events.
Worlds, galaxies and civilisations arose. Magic and technology were not opposites, but different ways of understanding the same reality. Naturel Spacetime Portals connected distant places.
When Earth set itself on a path towards destruction, Merlin — a Dforovian and guardian of ancient knowledge — led chosen humans through the Water Portal. Their destination was the Seventh Planet in the Keron System.
For generations, humans developed cities, knowledge and technologies that coexisted with Nature. Over time, the memory of Earth’s mistakes faded, and the desire for control led them to create sentient beings for labour and war.
The three-armed, three-legged Mrons were meant to become a powerful ground force. The winged Harps were to rule the air. Humans created living, thinking beings, yet continued to treat them as tools.
War engulfed the entire planet. The Mrons, led by Farosna, seized the land, while the Harps under Torwa took the sky. The Eternal Volcano became the last refuge of Merlin and Astilus.
Merlin could no longer save the world, but he could save its memory. He entrusted Astilus with the Dforovian legacy and knowledge linked to the Matrix of Beings.
After the destruction of the Eternal Volcano, the victors believed the ancient knowledge had been lost. They did not know Astilus had escaped the ruins. The Humble Bell set course for the Water Portal — and beyond it, Earth.
